Welcome to inspectify.eu. These Terms of Service and Legal Disclaimer govern your access to and use of our free website and IP analysis tools, reports, and associated services.

Last Updated: September 8, 2026Binding Service Agreement & Legal Notice

Welcome to inspectify.eu (the "Website" or "Service"), operated by Inspectify ("we", "us", or "our"), registered in the Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce (KvK). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and IP analysis tools, reports, and any associated services.

By accessing or using our Website, initiating a scan, or contacting us, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and our associated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1Acceptance and Nature of Service

inspectify.eu provides automated website and IP analysis tools designed to assess baseline security configurations, such as HTTP headers, SSL/TLS setups, and DNSSEC status:

Informational & Diagnostic Purpose

The Service is provided for informational, educational, and technical diagnostic purposes. Certain core features are available free of charge, while advanced features (such as higher rate limits, authenticated accounts, or cache-override functionality) may be subject to account registration or paid subscriptions.

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service (including scanning parameters, caching policies, or features) at any time without prior notice or liability.

2Permitted Use and Security Assessment Warranties

Non-Intrusive, Passive Analysis

inspectify.eu only performs passive, non-intrusive queries against publicly reachable network services (such as public DNS lookups, public HTTP/HTTPS header inspections, and public TLS certificate validation). The Service does not execute active penetration testing, binary exploits, payload injection, or brute-force attacks.

When entering a domain name or IP address into the Service and initiating an inspection, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

1

Legitimate Scope

You either own the target system, have appropriate permission to inspect it, or are analyzing publicly available endpoints for legitimate security, administrative, or research purposes;

2

No Malicious Exploitation

You will not use the Service, its outputs, or the technical data obtained to conduct unauthorized vulnerability exploitation, denial-of-service attacks, or any malicious reconnaissance activities against target systems;

3

Legal & Statutory Compliance

Your use of the Service complies with all applicable computer crime and misuse legislation (including Article 138ab of the Dutch Criminal Code regarding computer intrusion and similar international statutes).

We do not verify the ownership of submitted targets and expressly disclaim all liability arising from unlawful or unauthorized scans initiated through your session or network connection.

3"As-Is" Service and Warranties Disclaimer

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL SCAN RESULTS, SCORES, REPORTS, AND METRICS, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim:

No Guarantee of Completeness

Security scans rely on automated passive analysis of publicly observable signatures. Our scans do not guarantee the detection of all vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, malware, or security risks. No automated tool can detect 100% of security issues.

No Endorsement of Safety

A high score or a "clean" scan report on inspectify.eu does not constitute a formal cybersecurity certification, legal compliance seal (such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance), or a guarantee that your website is secure against hacking, data breaches, or exploits.

Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate technical data, we do not warrant that the scan results, DNS records, server location data, or header analysis are always up-to-date, complete, or error-free.

4AI-Generated Audit Summary Disclaimer

EU AI Act Compliance (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50)
  • Synthetic Content: The "Audit Summary" section of your scan report is generated automatically using advanced artificial intelligence (large language models).
  • No Professional Advice: AI-generated summaries are designed to translate complex technical metrics into plain, accessible language for ease of understanding. They constitute automated algorithmic opinions and do not constitute professional cybersecurity advice, formal IT auditing, or legal counsel.
  • Verification Required & Staging Testing: You are strictly required to independently verify and validate all AI-suggested recommendations and vulnerability fixes (such as implementing Content Security Policy headers or HSTS configurations) in a secure staging environment before applying them to production systems. We accept no liability for site outages, configuration errors, broken web functionality, or downtime resulting from the implementation of suggestions derived from scan results or AI summaries.

5Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors while using inspectify.eu:

Abuse & DDoS

Initiating excessive scans, automated requests, or utilizing bots to disrupt, overload, or compromise the availability of inspectify.eu's infrastructure (subject to strict rate limiting).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the operator and owner of inspectify.eu from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
